Packing up your life
It is a strange thing to do, deciding that you will pack up and sell everything you can, severe all ties and head out on the road.
The obvious question is what would someone who did this be in search of, and if and when it is all over, will they have found anything new along the way - while the answer is probably "no" in many cases it is not really about what you can grasp and point to so much as just walking the path.
It is all beginning to sound a bit trite and cliched now, but one thing I have found is that familiar sayings become that familiar precisely because they have quite a lot of truth to them, but when we hear and regard them intellectually they seem pat, but when experienced they resound with a penertrating truth.
